En el marco de la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de la Eliminaci\u00f3n de la Violencia contra la Mujer, que se conmemora el 25 de noviembre, surge la necesidad de sensibilizar a las instituciones y reflexionar sobre c\u00f3mo crear acciones para prevenir y sancionar la violencia contra las mujeres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adriana Villalobos, jefa de la Oficina de la Mujer (OFIM) de la Municipalidad de Goicoechea, expuso el tema en un encuentro que se celebr\u00f3 con la Uni\u00f3n Nacional de Gobiernos Locales (UNGL), la Municipalidad de San Jos\u00e9, la Red de Oficinas de la Mujer (Red OFIM) y la Oficina Antinarc\u00f3ticos, Seguridad Ciudadana y Justicia (INL) de la Embajada de Estados Unidos, en Costa Rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la actividad participaron la vicealcaldesa de Goicoechea, Irene Campos y mujeres representantes de la Polic\u00eda Municipal de Goicoechea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para Villalobos, es prioridad que se refuercen y desarrollen las OFIM en todo el pa\u00eds, motivar su creaci\u00f3n en las municipalidades donde no hay y trabajar con m\u00e1s firmeza en materia de violencia en cada comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
