El alcalde de Goicoechea, Rafael \u00c1ngel Vargas Brenes, firm\u00f3 un convenio con 14 municipalidades del Gran \u00c1rea Metropolitana con la mirada puesta en trabajar por el transporte sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este acuerdo se da en el marco del proyecto mUEve, ejecutado por la Uni\u00f3n Nacional de Gobiernos Locales (UNGL) y financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE), que \u00abuni\u00f3\u00bb los territorios de 15 cantones por donde transita el tren metropolitano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las ciudades que participan de esta iniciativa son: Para\u00edso (Cartago), Oreamuno (Cartago), Cartago, La Uni\u00f3n (Cartago), Curridabat, San Jos\u00e9, Montes de Oca, Goicoechea, Tib\u00e1s, Santo Domingo, San Pablo, Heredia, Flores (Heredia), Bel\u00e9n y Alajuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vargas Brenes recibe con optimismo este acercamiento entre cantones con el fin de dar un salto de calidad a la movilidad urbana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abSin duda alguna, este es un proyecto que impactar\u00e1 positivamente la vida de las personas. Es un reto para cada uno de los gobiernos locales que estamos involucrados para dar las soluciones adecuadas y prontas a la ciudadan\u00eda\u00bb, manifest\u00f3 el alcalde de Goicoechea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el acuerdo, las municipalidades se comprometen en seguir al pie de la letra el Plan Intermunicipal DUOT (PIM-DUOT), en el que trabaja Produs de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), con el que se pretende desarrollar infraestructura con una inversi\u00f3n de \u00a2140 millones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el PIM-DUOT se hace un an\u00e1lisis de territorio para determinar un banco de proyectos y priorizarlos con el fin de que se logre la conectividad entre los 15 cantones participantes, detall\u00f3 la UNGL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, se crear\u00e1 una serie de par\u00e1metros para que las municipalidades ejecuten sus obras bajo los ocho principios del Desarrollo Urbano Orientado al Transporte: caminar, pedalear, conectar, transportar, mezclar, densificar, compactar y cambiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

mUEve trabaja de la mano con los municipios para orientarlos en los principios de Desarrollo Urbano Orientado al Transporte y como parte de sus objetivos, est\u00e1 entregar una obra demostrativa valorada en \u00a2100 millones en cada ayuntamiento participante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De momento se elaboran los planes proyectos de los 15 municipios, todos ya est\u00e1n adjudicados, para despu\u00e9s iniciar con la construcci\u00f3n de dicha obra.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
